A Regulation Training Class for the Cemetery Compliance Agent will be taught live by attorney Mike Doherty on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m.  Box lunches will be provided.  UPDATE - PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE:  The session will be held at the Dept. of Professional Occupation & Regulation, 9960 Mayland Drive, Richmond, VA 23233. 

Please note the following important details for the day:

Location: DPOR, 9960 Mayland Drive Richmond, VA 23233, 1st Floor

Entrance: You will need to enter through the customer service entrance and go through security. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for security clearance.

Training Room: The training will take place in the first-floor training room, which is located past the elevators. When you reach the hallway, you’ll find the room on your right-hand side—just follow the signs for the training room.

Once you enter, you will see two doors: one to your right and one directly in front of you. Please proceed straight ahead to the door directly in front of you.

This training program is approved by the Cemetery Board, and fulfills the requirements as established by the Department of Professional & Occupational Regulations (DPOR) for Compliance Agents or Designees.

$225 member / $475 non-member

Cancellations

Attendee cancellations and requests for refunds may be requested up to three (3) days before the event starts and must be made in writing via email. 

Refund Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing in order to be eligible for a refund. An administrative charge of $50 will be applied to all refunds if the cancellation or request to change to another course is received less than three days before the start of the event. Cancellations not received in writing by the date required will not be eligible for a refund.
